Our fully functioning workshop gives us the ability to create bespoke joinery to give any construction project that individual finished feel from; providing hand-made windows, doors and more ... This enables us to have more control over the schedule of your project knowing exactly what time frame is needed for any pieces being fabricated, also the quality and care of the work that your will receive from us right from the design to the fabrication and then the install.

Thanks to the years of experience in the industry we have acquired we are aware of the regular pitfalls that you might encounter throughout  your construction project and we will be on hand to guide you past them. we have we have also built up strong relationships with other companies that provide different services you might need for your project such as architects, plumbers, electricians and more ...

2nd Fix finishes

Second fix carpentry comprises of all the work that would be carried out following the plastering such as; hanging of doors, flooring, skirting, architrave and fitting of kitchens and furniture. This is where the precision and skill of our tradesman shines through giving your project the perfect details and finish you were after. 

With the help from our internal joinery workshop we are able to install furniture that has been custom made for you that you could have designed yourself giving your project that unique finish, displaying your own personal taste. Or choose from a selection of template designs we have on file.

1ST FIX CONSTRUCTION

First fix carpentry comprises of all the work that would be needed to take a building from foundations to putting plaster on the internal walls. This includes constructing walls, floors and ceilings. After reaching this point it's normal practice for other trades to complete their work such as electricians inserting cables for electrical supply and plumbers installing pipes for water supply.

We have extensive experience when it comes to first fix carpentry as this was ICM's first area of expertise when it was formed over 10 years ago. This time has provided us experiences of working on first fix projects from; extensions, conversions, roofing and new build constructions.
